The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! PhoQus has knocked Spalchik down with a huge combo! PhoQus steps away and waves a wobbly Spalchik back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Malchik Spalchik has been cut.
Spalchik looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

PhoQus cracks Spalchik with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Spalchik looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can PhoQus finish him?

Spalchik is rocked!

PhoQus pushes Spalchik up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Spalchik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
PhoQus has had enough of the clinch but Spalchik keeps him there for the moment.
Spalchik seems to have got his legs back now.

PhoQus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Malchik Spalchik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spalchik misses with a takedown attempt

and PhoQus counters by moving into the clinch.

PhoQus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

PhoQus lands a big uppercut and Spalchik crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Spalchik looks OK. PhoQus waves Spalchik back to his feet!

Spalchik jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as PhoQus walks away with a smile on his face. Spalchik gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

PhoQus drives through and clinches with Spalchik against the cage.
PhoQus tries to break the clinch but Spalchik is controlling the position.
Spalchik is looking for a takedown up against the cage. PhoQus gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
PhoQus wants to break free but Spalchik has control.
PhoQus wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
PhoQus has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
PhoQus has had enough of the clinch but Spalchik keeps him there for the moment.

Spalchik on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

PhoQus connects with a nice cross there... Spalchik is looking wobbly and PhoQus recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Spalchik to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - PhoQus jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
