Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kabal Kun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itchy Rash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itchy Rash has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kabal Kun's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kabal Kun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Itchy Rash!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kun feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rashs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rash takes the fight into the clinch.

Rash gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kun is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kun being controlled here, momentarily.
Rash throwing strikes but missing.
Kun trying to keep a closed guard but Rash is proving a slippery customer.
Kun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kun has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rash has passed into side control.
Kun is looking for a sweep.
Rash working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Kun's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rash trying to control the position but Kun is working away.
Kun is trying to control Rash's posture but Rash avoids it.
Rash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kun. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rash connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kun some visible discomfort.

Rash is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kun has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kun sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rash sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kun defending well though.
Rash missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Rash working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Rash lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Rash wants to work for an arm triangle but Kun is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kun missing with punches from the bottom.

Kun looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Rash seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Rash works his way into side control.
Rash lands a nice forearm strike.
Rash lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Rash working away.

Rash is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kun knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kun tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rash wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kun is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rash off and has taken his back!
Rash trying to control but not successfully.
Rash prevents Kun from getting a body triangle.
Kun is hanging on to Rash's back as he tries to escape.
Rash needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation.
Kun tries to get the hooks in deep but Rash pushed the leg off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Itchy Rash dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Kun shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kun tries to stand and escape but Rash is controlling the position.
Rash is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kun jumps into side control!
Rash prevents Kun from moving into mount.
Kun wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rash keeps working.
Kun works to advance to full mount. Rash defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Rash is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kun avoids the attempt from Rash to control.

Kun goes for an armbar but Rash turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rash.
Kun wants to stand but Rash is controlling the position.
Rash thows a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rash trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kun wants to get back to his feet but Rash is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kun keeping moving, preventing Rash from controlling successfully.
Kun looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rash is one step ahead there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Rash trying to control the position from guard on top but Kun is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Itchy Rash was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Kun tries to close the distance and clinch but Rash swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kun shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rash defends it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kun shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rash as he avoids it easily.
Kun moves in looking to clinch but Rash pushes him off.
Rash swats away the attempt to clinch by Kun.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rash is defended easily by Kun.
Kun shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kabal Kun. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kun wants to clinch.
Kun lands with a slapping head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rash looks for a takedown but Kun sprawls well.
Kun is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rash sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kun fails with a takedown attempt.
Kun lands a high kick!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rash.

Rash tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kun is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kabal Kun will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Kun looks to clinch

and Rash counters with a shoot takedown. Kun fights it but they end up in guard.

Kun is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rash is aware though and is defending well.
Rash is looking to work some ground and pound but Kun has wrist control.
Rash scoring with some ground and pound.
Rash is working Kun over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kun is keeping the position for now.
Rash loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kun is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kun with the ground and pound but Rash uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Kun wants to stand but Rash has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Kun trying to control the position from guard on top but Rash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kun is really struggling to control Rash but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We're going to have a standup here because Kabal Kun wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kun is looking to clinch.
Kun goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kun throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rash's waist but Rash gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kun off to one side.
Rash fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kun closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Kun wants to control but Rash is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rash lands a nice short elbow.
Kun works his way to full guard. Good work.
Rash prevents Kun from getting back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kun is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Itchy Rash has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rash wants to control from the top but Kun keeps moving.
Kun not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rash controlling from the top position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Rash chips away with some ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kun working a defensive guard here.
Kun tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kabal Kun has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Rash bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kun managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Rash.
Rash working away.
Rash throws a strike aimed at the side of Kun's head but Kun avoids it well.
Rash looking to control but instead Kun has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Rash throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

And that's the end of the fight!
Itchy Rash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rash has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
