The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Barbaro counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Barbaro scores with a jab to the body.
Barbaro fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Balboa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Barbaro pushes Balboa up against the cage in a clinch.
Balboa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Balboa tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Barbaro digs a right hand underneath Balboa's ribcage. Balboa let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Balboa is still on wobbly legs! Can Barbaro finish him?

Barbaro unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Balboa! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Barbaro is unloading with more strikes now! Balboa drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
