The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Thyme blocks the low kick.

Thyme moves away from the strike by Alvarado.
Thyme ducks under a wild hook from Alvarado.
Alvarado blocks a jab.
Thyme checks a leg kick nicely.
Thyme thuds a left hand into Alvarado's body.
Alvarado throws a hook but Thyme blocks it.
Thyme loads up on a big right hand but Alvarado slips the punch.
Alvarado on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Alvarado misses with a double jab.
Thyme buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Thyme throws a lazy right hand but Alvarado sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Thyme feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Alvarado's calf.

Thyme's jab looks to have found its range, popping Alvarado under the eye.

Alvarado misses with an uppercut. Thyme saw that one coming.
Thyme lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alvarado circles away quickly and effectively.

Alvarado is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Thyme fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Alvarado throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thyme lands a jab.
Thyme feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alvarados jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That kick from Thyme tenderised Alvarado's leg. Alvarado is trying to keep his angry face on.
Alvarado gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Alvarado lands with an overhand left.
Thyme moves out of range as Alvarado strikes.
Thyme scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Thyme lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Alvarado backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thyme thumps Alvarado with a low kick.

Thyme cracks Alvarado with a right hand to the side of the head.
Thyme connects with a single shot there.
A punch lands to the side of Alvarado 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Thyme gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Alvarado.
Oh Alvarado is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alvarado throws an overhand right that lands on Thyme's shoulder, as Thyme tries to avoid the shot.
Alvarado seems to have got his legs back now.
Alvarado misses with a low kick.

Thyme drops his shoulder and cracks Alvarado with a huge uppercut! Alvarado goes down! Can Thyme finish him?

It looks like Max Alvarado has been cut.

Thyme stands and steps away. Alvarado gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Alvarado is breathing heavily.

Thyme drops Alvarado with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Alvarado! Thyme dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
