Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Lipkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qfc Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Lipkin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Qfc Guy!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipkin lands a nice looking kick to the body. Guy takes a step back to recover.
Lipkin wants to clinch.
Guy shoots in looking for a takedown but Lipkin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Guy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lipkin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Guy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Guy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Lipkin shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Guy blocks a low kick nicely.
Lipkin takes a swing at Guy's ribcage but misses.
Guy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Guy blocks a jab.

Guy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lipkin napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lipkin is looking for a sweep.

Guy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Guy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Guy has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Lipkin wants to control but Guy is having none of it.

Lipkin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Guy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lipkin passes into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Guy manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lipkin won't allow Guy to sweep him here.

Guy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lipkin stacks Guy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lipkin!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lipkin misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Guy avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lipkin.
Lipkin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Guy is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lipkin off and has taken his back!
Well, with Guy on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Lipkin is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

I really don't envy Lipkin right now.

That was a close round but I would say that Alexander Lipkin will probably get the nod.

Guy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lipkin on his heels. He'll look to pass Lipkin's guard now, I'm sure.

Qfc Guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lipkin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Guy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lipkin will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Qfc Guy was stalling too much, according to the referee.

That was a close round but Alexander Lipkin did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Horrible takedown by Guy or perhaps it was just good defense by Lipkin which made him look bad.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Guy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lipkin can pounce on him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Guy is looking for a sweep. Lipkin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Lipkin.
I think Lipkin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
