The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaves keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No joy there for Randelson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Randelson loads up on a big right hand but Chaves slips the punch.
Chaves will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A big right from Randelson misses.
Chaves throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Randelson counters with a three punch combo that has Chaves backing up. Chaves nods at Randelson to acknowledge the strikes.
Chaves misses with a body shot
and Randelson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chaves throws a series of punches but Randelson moves out of range.
Chaves throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Randelson takes a swing at Chaves's ribcage but misses.
Chaves misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Randelson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Chaves is in all sorts of trouble here.
Randelson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Chaves is desperately trying to improve his position but Randelson has a good base and remains in mount.
Randelson is landing with some decent strikes but Chaves is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Randelson unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Chaves wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Randelson celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
