Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choke Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Joe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to (Ugly kid joe) Everything about you. Liddell has chosen Intro - DMX as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Choke Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws a lazy uppercut
and Liddell counters with a left and a right that stings Joe.
Joe swings widly with a right hand
and Liddell counters with a left to the body.
Joe misses with a right hand
and Joe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Joe takes a swing at Liddell's ribcage but misses.
A punch combination from Joe misses.
Joe ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Joe scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Joe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Liddell circles away quickly and effectively.
Joe feints a jab promting Liddell to slip. Joe then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Liddell slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Joe misses with a right hand
and Liddell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Liddell counters with a straight right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Liddell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Liddell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Liddell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Joe as he avoids it easily.

Joe cracks Liddell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Liddell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Liddell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kid Joe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Liddell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Liddell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Joe throws out a leg kick but Liddell moves out of range and Joe only half commits.

and Liddell counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Joe swings for the body but Liddell moves out of range.

Joe connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Liddell throws a hook but Joe blocks it.
Liddell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Joe misses with a shot to the body
and Joe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Joe connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Liddell momentarily.
Joe throws a poor cross that misses
and Liddell counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Liddell lands a slapping body shot.
Joe takes a swing at Liddell's ribcage but misses.
Joe misses with a lunging right hand
and Liddell counters with a nice uppercut.

Joe throws a leg kick which misses Liddell's front leg but catches the back leg as Liddell tries to avoid it.
Liddell is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Joe had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Liddell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Joe throws a shot from downtown. Liddell moves away and avoids it.
Joe misses with a lunging right hand
and Liddell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Liddell tries to bum rush Joe with a series of wild strikes but Joe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Joe throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Liddell counters with a nice uppercut.
Joe jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Liddell lands a lovely overhand right.
Joe throws a lazy uppercut
and Liddell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A solid leg kick lands there for Joe.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Liddell with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Joe to score with a decent uppercut.
Liddell has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Joe ducks under a wild hook from Liddell.

No joy there for Joe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Joe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Liddell's sensitive parts.

Joe's corner calls for a 1-2. Joe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

A shot to the liver by Joe. Beautiful body shot.
Joe throws a good cross that connects.


Liddell is rocked!
Joe fakes the body blow, causing Liddell to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Liddell goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
