Sly's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, In Flames - My Sweet Shadow. Rosenthal is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 2 Hits. Ed Rosenthal has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sly looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rosenthal looks to throw the jab but Sly is out of range.
Sly takes one on the button.
Nice sprawl there from Rosenthal as Sly shoots in.
Sly tries for a takedown but Rosenthal circles away easily
and Rosenthal counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Ab Sly has been cut.

Rosenthal closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sly tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rosenthal just stands there and leans against the cage.
Sly tries to score a body lock takedown but Rosenthal shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rosenthal lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Sly drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rosenthal lands a hook that snaps the head of Sly backwards.

Rosenthal dips a shoulder and cracks Sly with a mighty uppercut! Sly falls back against the cage and Rosenthal unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sly is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rosenthal screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
