Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chan Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chan Sung Jung!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung misses with a body kick.
Jung closes the distance and clinches up with Hardy, looking for a takedown. Jung pushes Hardy against the cage but Hardy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jung falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hardy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jung takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jung avoids the body shot from Hardy.
Jung uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hardy.
Jung checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hardy connects with a leg kick. Jung looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jung not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Chan Sung Jung has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jung changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hardy tries to avoid it but Jung manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hardy to the ground. Hardy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jung stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hardy.

Jung closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hardy wants to control but Jung postures up.

Jung is trying to get an arm triangle but Hardy is defending well.
Hardy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jung on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jung tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hardy regains half guard, as Jung was trying to land strikes.
Hardy tries to roll over but Jung keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chan Sung Jung will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, with Jung on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Hardy is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Hardy is desperately trying to improve his position but Jung has a good base and remains in mount.

Hardy is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Chan Sung Jung showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That kick from Jung tenderised Hardy's leg. Hardy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hardy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jung has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Hardy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jung shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hardy pinned against the cage. Hardy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hardy thows a body kick. Jung tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Hardy throws a looping overhand right but Jung ducks down to avoid it.

Chan Sung Jung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jung moves out of range of the strikes.
Hardy finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jung's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Jung throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hardy counters with a two punch combo.
Jung fails to land with a series of punches.
Jung tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jung throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Hardy counter with a right hand.
Hardy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jung has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hardy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Maxwell Hardy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hardy cracks Jung with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Some bone on bone action there as Hardy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
