Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Inoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inoki throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Inoki kicks Gracie off and gets to his feet.
Inoki lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Inoki.
Gracie walks into a stiff left hand from Inoki.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie blocks a head kick by Inoki.
Inoki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Inoki doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Inoki throws a combination that misses

and Gracie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Inoki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Inoki turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Gracie is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Inoki lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Gracie quite badly. Gracie pulls Inoki in close trying to recover. Inoki postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Gracie on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Gracie doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
