Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ador King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vargas has chosen Dominican as his entrance music. Ador King is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ador King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Randy Vargas!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

King closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Vargas is trying to get back to half guard.
King tries to move to mount but Vargas blocks the move with his legs.
Vargas tries to buck King off but King is having none of it.
King trying to control the position but Vargas is working away.
Vargas is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on King's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

King gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vargas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. King just stands there and leans against the cage.

King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vargas throws a head kick that misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Vargas. King shrugs it off though.
King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vargas manages to avoid it.
King goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Vargas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Vargas.

King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Vargas is trying to escape the mount.
Vargas bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Vargas has gone for a leg lock! King slips out almost immediately though and dives into Vargas's guard.
Vargas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.

Vargas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and King dives on top into guard.
King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vargas on the ground.
King stays in close to Vargas's body and controls the position.

King stands and steps away. Vargas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Vargas checks a leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
King is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Randy Vargas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vargas misses with a few strikes there.
Vargas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by King.

No joy there for Vargas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vargas sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Vargas manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Vargas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Vargas's temple.

King postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Vargas to stand up.

Vargas throws a right and a left that King avoids nicely.
King misses with a double jab.

King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

King is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Vargas is surviving well by controlling King's body position as best he can.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


King throws a sloppy head kick and Vargas moves out of range easily.
Vargas throws a series of punches but King moves out of range.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells King's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
King connects with a couple of short punches.

Vargas throws his legs up looking for a submission but King uses it to pass to side control.

King advances nicely into full mount.
Vargas holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as King tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Vargas is squirming around, avoiding King's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vargas is looking to get to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
King tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

King stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

King clinches up with Vargas and pushes him back against the cage.
Vargas fails to pull guard.
King tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Vargas's elbow.
Vargas swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Vargas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as King walks away with a smile on his face. Vargas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

King closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vargas's guard.

King stands and steps away. Vargas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

King clinches.

King ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. King no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ador King is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
King throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
King is trying to control the position from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ador King showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for King, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
