The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Perez counters with a lovely straight right hand!

A combination from Bisping does no damage.
Bisping misses with a lunging right hand

and Perez holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bisping tries to stall but Perez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Perez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Perez avoids the body shot from Bisping.
Bisping misses the jab.
Bisping throws a lazy right hand but Perez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bisping tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Perez's elbow.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Perez as Bisping tries to tie him up.

Bisping takes a knee right on the jaw!
Perez lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Michael Bisping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bisping misses with a wild combination.

and Perez counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Perez.

Bisping is rocked!
Bisping trying to control the position but instead, Perez has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bisping into the ropes.

Oh Bisping is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bisping seems to have got his legs back now.
Bisping misses with a series of wild punches.

Perez takes the fight into the clinch.
Perez lands an elbow that stopped Bisping in his tracks for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luis Alberto Perez dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Michael Bisping's cut.
That's time! Bisping's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Perez has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Bisping - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Perez, and another! Bisping is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
