Lowrey looking to score a takedown here. Makdashue is defending well but Lowrey drives through and ends up in Makdashue's guard.
Makdashue looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lowrey not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Makdashue can do anything to dispel that myth.

Makdashue really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lowrey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lowrey passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Lowrey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lowrey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Makdashue is not content to let Lowrey control the position.

Lowrey is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Makdashue is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lowrey is working to tighten is grip on Makdashue's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Makdashue has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lowrey is really squeezing tight and eventually Makdashue passes out! Lowrey breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
