Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Wilkon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidd comes to the cage accompanied by Blowin Swishers. Tony Kidd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Kidd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andre Wilkon!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilkon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kidd is not content to let Wilkon control the position.
Kidd tries to bench press Wilkon off him but Wilkon keeps the position.
Kidd is working hard here to advance position.
Kidd sneaks back into half guard.
Kidd missing with punches from the bottom.
Kidd tries to get to full guard but Wilkon has control of the leg.
Kidd is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wilkon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wilkon's back!
Kidd has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Wilkon's body.
Kidd has the hooks in. Wilkon is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Kidd keeps control of the position easily here as Wilkon tries to buck him off.
Wilkon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kidd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kidd throwing damaging strikes from the back! Wilkon could be in trouble here!
Wilkon just trying to survive but Kidd is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Kidd tries to keep control of the position but Wilkon is staying busy.
Wilkon manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kidd's guard. Nice work there by Wilkon.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kidd manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilkon manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kidd slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Kidd working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Wilkon is looking for a sweep.
Kidd lands some shots froms side control.
Kidd trying to control the action but Wilkon is working from the bottom.
Kidd passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wilkon!

Kidd is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wilkon to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wilkon shrugs it off.
Kidd lands a big shot there that rocks Wilkon but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Kidd wants to control the pace but Wilkon is squirming around nicely.
Wilkon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kidd has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kidd working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Kidd tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Wilkon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Wilkon looks gassed!
Kidd is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wilkon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kidd controlling the position easily from mount.

Wilkon has left one of his arms exposed and Kidd doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Wilkon screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
