Iliev has chosen Likin Park - Bleed it out as his entrance music. Fernando Torres has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yavor Iliev Iliev!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iliev shoots for a double leg takedown but Torres sprawls well. He's pushed Iliev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Iliev closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The fighters circling - Torres throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Iliev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Torres circles away.

Iliev shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Iliev was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Torres is in all sorts of trouble here.

Iliev has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Torres's face.
Iliev has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Torres is looking to improve his position but Iliev isn't that keen on the idea.

Torres takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Iliev misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Iliev cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Iliev lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
