Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blank Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jalil Mahmoudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahmoudi has chosen CAUTION!!! VULGAR AS F^CK as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man throws a head kick that misses.
Mahmoudi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mahmoudi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Man to score with a decent uppercut.
Mahmoudi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Man sprawls well. Man wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mahmoudi gets slowly back to his feet.
Man drives through and clinches with Mahmoudi against the cage.
Mahmoudi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Man is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mahmoudi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Man gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Blank Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jalil Mahmoudi.
Man has hold of one of Mahmoudi's legs. Mahmoudi is fighting the takedown attempt but Man gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Mahmoudi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Man controls the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jalil Mahmoudi wasn't active enough on the ground.
Mahmoudi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Man on the side of the head.

and Man counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Man rushes Mahmoudi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Man digs a right hand into Mahmoudi's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mahmoudi's gas tank.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mahmoudi goes for a takedown attempt but Man pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Man fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Man throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mahmoudi.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Man pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mahmoudi misses with a takedown attempt - Man sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jalil Mahmoudi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jalil Mahmoudi will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mahmoudi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The referee warns Man that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
