Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Goldie Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernie Whit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ernie Whit hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Whit closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wilson's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wilson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
It looks like Whit might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
