Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Max Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musta Surma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrell's entrance music is Born Again Anarchist. A fine choice. Max Terrell is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Surma leaves Terrell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Terrell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Surma steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Terrell.
Surma wants to clinch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Surma checks a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Surma slips under a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Surma avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Surma throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Terrell cracks Surma with an open hand slap.

It looks like Musta Surma has been cut.
A jab from Terrell misses.
Terrell lands with a hook. Surma tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Terrell keeps the fight on the outside.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Surma swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Surma tries to clinch up but Terrell circles away and keeps his distance.
Terrell dives in and grabs Surma's left leg, looking for a takedown. Surma pushes down on Terrell's head and hops out.

Surma moves into the clinch.
Surma misses with an elbow strike.
Terrell blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Terrell is looking to break free of the clinch but Surma has double underhooks.

Terrell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Surma tries to clinch up.
A chopping leg kick lands by Surma.
Musta Surma is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Terrell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Terrell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Terrell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Max Terrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Terrell misses with a left hand
and Surma counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Terrell is defended easily by Surma.
Surma tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Terrell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Surma counters by clinching up.
Terrell goes for a takedown in the clinch but Surma prevents it.
Nice elbow from Surma.
Surma can't find room to land a body shot as Terrell controls the action.
Surma has Terrell pressed against the cage, preventing Terrell from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Surma misses with a knee to the head.
Surma misses with an elbow strike.
Surma lands an elbow just above Terrell 's eye.

It looks like Max Terrell has been cut.
Terrell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Surma just stands there and leans against the cage.
Surma pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Surma creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Terrell's defenses.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Musta Surma will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Surma throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Terrell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Surma's guard now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Surma can do anything to dispel that myth.

Terrell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Terrell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Terrell pushes down on Surma's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Terrell has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Surma defend it? Terrell steps over the head and cranks it - Surma is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Terrell!
