Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Al Clergia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abu Sayaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sayaf has chosen Brand Nubian - Allah U Akbar as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Abu Sayaf was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Al Clergia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abu Sayaf!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clergia throws a lazy right hand but Sayaf sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice defenses there by Sayaf.
Clergia throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Clergia misses with a leg kick
and Sayaf counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sayaf smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Clergia gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Sayaf connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Clergia has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sayaf.
Nice uppercut there from Clergia.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A swing and a miss from Clergia.
Clergia misses with a hook
enabling Sayaf to counter with a crisp jab.
Clergia throws a sloppy head kick and Sayaf moves out of range easily.
Sayaf swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Clergia counters with a good low kick that Sayaf was not able to check.
Clergia thows a leg kick but Sayaf checks it
and Sayaf counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sayaf swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Clergia to counter with a crisp jab.
Clergia looks to land a right hand but Sayaf moved out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clergia throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Clergia digs a good body shot into Sayaf's ribs.
Clergia throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sayaf throws a big shot that misses.
Clergia throws a right hand that misses
and Sayaf counters with a body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A looping hook to the body misses from Clergia. Sayaf does a little dance to reset his feet.
Clergia takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Al Clergia will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sayaf misses with a wild body shot.
Sayaf misses with a series of wild punches.
Sayaf on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Clergia pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sayaf is out of range and Clergia settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sayaf throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Clergia sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sayaf swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sayaf staying out of range there.
Clergia goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Sayaf takes one on the button.
Sayaf misses with a jab to the body
and Clergia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sayaf is rocked!
Sayaf stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Clergia.
Sayaf is still on wobbly legs! Can Clergia finish him?
Sayaf is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clergia throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Sayaf seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sayaf stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Clergia.
Sayaf walks straight into a right hand from Clergia - that's dropped him! Clergia jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sayaf from any more punishment! Sayaf complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Al Clergia!
