Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rinta Pelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves throws a series of punches but Pelle moves out of range.

and Alves counters by moving into the clinch.
Alves goes for a takedown attempt but Pelle pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Alves tries to move into range but Pelle moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Pelle throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alves makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Pelle moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Pelle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pelle throws a right hand that Alves ducks under and follows up with a left that Alves also avoids with ease.
Alves uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Rinta Pelle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pelle tries to clinch up but Alves circles away and keeps his distance.
Alves shoots in looking for a takedown. Pelle tries to sprawl out of it but Alves keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pelle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pelle bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alves's head backwards.

Alves's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pelle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Alves scrambles back to his feet.

Rinta Pelle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pelle throws a looping overhand right but Alves ducks down to avoid it.
Alves connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pelle connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Alves needs to keep his hands up - Pelle had a free shot at his head there.
Alves gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Pelle counters with a left and a right that stings Alves.
Pelle fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Alves is breathing heavily.
A combination from Pelle does no damage.
Alves misses with an uppercut.
No joy there for Pelle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pelle is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Alves had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Pelle lands with a good body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pelle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pelle wants it to stay on the feet.

Pelle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alves stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pelle cracks Alves with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Alves shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Pelle drops Alves with a naaaaasty hook - Alves is in real trouble here! Pelle dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
