The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Darby, right into the meat.
Nagurski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Darby pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Darby takes a jab right on the kisser.
Nagurski blocks a head kick by Darby.

Darby gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Darby scores with a shot to the side of Nagurski's head.

Darby comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Darby has a couple of punches blocked by Nagurski.
Darby lands a left hand.
Nagurski wants to get back to striking at distance but Darby won't allow it.
Nagurski is trying to force a seperation but Darby has the dominant position.
Nagurski has had enough of the clinch but Darby keeps him there for the moment.
Nagurski is trying to push Darby away but Darby has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Darby creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Nagurski with a big uppercut! Nagurski tries to clinch up but Darby pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Nagurski to the mat! Nagurski covers up and Darby unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
