The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kikuno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Kikuno circles away easily

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kikuno moves into full guard.
Kikuno pulls Gracie in close to his closed guard and prevents Gracie from doing any damage or advancing position.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Kikuno is keeping the position.
