Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Genki Dama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregori Vladivostok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladivostok has chosen Goodbye Sober Day - Mr Bungle as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama misses with a leg kick.
Dama tries for a takedown but Vladivostok circles away easily
and Vladivostok counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dama misses with a hook to the body
and Vladivostok counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Vladivostok throws a nice inside leg kick.
That kick from Dama tenderised Vladivostok's leg. Vladivostok is trying to keep his angry face on.
Vladivostok fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dama manages to avoid it.
Vladivostok connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dama misses with a head kick.
Vladivostok misses the shot to the body.
Vladivostok jabs Dama right on the nose. Dama blinks but takes it well.
Dama lands a nice shot to the body.
Vladivostok throws out a powerful jab.
Vladivostok falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dama counters with a head kick. That will keep Vladivostok thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Vladivostok uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dama.
Genki Dama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Vladivostok counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dama is defended easily by Vladivostok.

Dama is trying to control. Vladivostok wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Dama is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vladivostok can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Dama with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dama is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dama is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Vladivostok trying to control the position from guard on top but Dama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Vladivostok wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Dama's closed guard. He's half up but Dama has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Dama pivots and extends the arm, Vladivostok falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Dama! Well done that man!
