Sobral comes into the arena with captain jack sparrow blaring out of the sound system. Renato Sobral is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Renato Sobral.
Sobral takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Diaz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sobral tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sobral somewhat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz and Sobral are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Diaz throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Sobral into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Diaz knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
