The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miles closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Drogba wants to get back to his feet.

Drogba bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Miles shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Drogba counters with a nice double leg into side control. Miles won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miles tries to buck Drogba off but Drogba is having none of it.

Drogba working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Miles is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A control attempt from Miles but he's now mounted!
Miles tries to hold on but Drogba pushes him away.

Drogba can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Miles is looking to escape.

Drogba has hold of Miles's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Miles manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Miles is looking to improve his position but Drogba isn't that keen on the idea.

Drogba jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Miles manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Miles is looking to regain half guard here but Drogba keeps moving and retains side control.

Drogba scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Miles is looking for a way out.

Drogba shoots in looking for a takedown. Miles tries to sprawl out of it but Drogba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miles manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Miles manages to get to full guard.

Drogba drops back looking for a leg! Miles is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miles manages to kick Drogba off! Drogba jumps back into Miles's guard.
Drogba wants to pass the guard but Miles is keeping the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Drogba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miles swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Miles wants to sweep but no luck.
Miles keeping moving, preventing Drogba from controlling successfully.

We're going to have a standup here because Jerome Drogba wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Miles parries the strikes from Drogba easily there. Drogba is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Miles to escape.

Miles is pressing down on Drogba's thigh, looking to free his foot. Drogba is holding on for now.
Miles stops Drogba from getting back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Miles landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Miles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Drogba keeps working.

Miles looking for a submission but Drogba manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Drogba is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Miles with a poor takedown

and Drogba moves into the clinch.
Miles looking for a takedown.
Drogba has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Miles is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Miles breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Miles thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Drogba to regain full guard.

Drogba has his feet on Miles's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Miles throws a nice looking combination but Drogba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Drogba shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Drogba was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Drogba is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Miles has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Drogba is riding his opponent, not letting Miles buck him off.

Miles has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Drogba.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Miles breaks Drogba's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Drogba has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Miles off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
