Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Dafoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Serge Moyon!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dafoe gets a takedown into half guard.
Dafoe stands up from half guard.
Moyon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moyon tries to pull guard but Dafoe holds him up against the cage and eventually Moyon drops back down to his feet.
Moyon jumps guard but Dafoe stands there with Moyon around his waist. Moyon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dafoe has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Moyon regains guard immediately.
Dafoe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moyon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dafoe stands and steps away. Moyon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dafoe has his takedown stuffed
and Moyon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dafoe moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dafoe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moyon is trying to stand up here but Dafoe is controlling him well.
Moyon looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dafoe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moyon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Dafoe gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Dafoe doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Moyon counters with a single leg into guard. Dafoe didn't expect that.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dafoe is on top in guard.
Dafoe wants to pass the guard but Moyon is keeping the position.
Dafoe postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Moyon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dafoe, into his guard.
Dafoe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moyon's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dafoe passes into half guard.
Dafoe is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Moyon in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dafoe scoring with strikes but Moyon is staying in there.
Dafoe moves to the back position.
Dafoe working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Moyon is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Dafoe has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Moyon taps out!
