The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wahl drops back, looking for a kneebar! Slushi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Slushi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Slushi!
Wahl is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Slushi off and has taken his back!
Wahl misses with an elbow to the head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Slushi is trying to get back to his feet but Wahl has full control of the position and if anything, Slushi has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Wahl is looking for the choke from the back position but Slushi is controlling his hands well.
Wahl lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Slushi hold on?!

Wahl has got his arm under Slushi's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Slushi has spun round into Wahl's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Wahl is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wahl is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Slushi defends it well.

The referee warns Slushi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Wahl wants to control the pace but Slushi is squirming around nicely.

Wahl is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Slushi is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Slushi flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Wahl anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Slushi and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wahl slips an arm under Slushi chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wahl has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wahl is squeezing on Slushi like an anaconda would it's prey. Slushi fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
