Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Ras!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Travis Barker!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ras will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ras is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ras takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Barker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ras. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Josh Ras will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

so Ras counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ras is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Ras wasn't doing enough on the ground.
A clash of legs there as Ras blocks the low kick.
Ras shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barker as he avoids it easily.
Barker lands with a hook. Ras tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Ras is rocked!
Barker and Ras are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Barker throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Ras into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Barker knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Travis Barker!
