Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Sten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boot Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head has chosen Requiem For A Dream as his entrance music. Vlad Sten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Head as he checks the leg kick.
Sten throws a combination that misses
and Head counters with a nice uppercut.
Head takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sten keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Head with a hook.
Head throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sten uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Head.
Head throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sten throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sten.

Sten throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Sten makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Sten wants to slow Head down by chopping away at his legs.

Head throws a poor cross that misses
and Sten makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sten lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Boot Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Head misses with an uppercut. Sten saw that one coming.
Sten tries to clinch but Head is having none of it.
Sten connects with a solid leg kick.
Head throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sten sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Head uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sten has time to react.

Sten ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Head moves away.

Head throws a hook to the side of Sten's head but Sten sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Head jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Head moves into the clinch.
Sten slows down the pace here.
Sten lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Sten thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Head if he has to take too many more of those.
Head scores with a jab. Sten acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Head is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sten.
Head cracks a nice hook into Sten's ribs.

and Head makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Head thuds a left hand into Sten's body.
Head swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Head darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sten throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sten is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Head.

and Head moves into the clinch.
Sten lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Head backwards.
Sten lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Head lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sten backwards.
Sten has a couple of punches blocked by Head.
Sten swings wildly with an uppercut but Head uses good head movement to avoid it.

Head's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sten fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Head manages to avoid it.
Head throws a leg kick but Sten moved away.
Sten slips under a jab.
Head scores with a nice strike.

Head closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Head loads up on a big right hand but Sten slips the punch.
Sten takes a body punch but keeps moving.

and Head counters with a nice uppercut.
Head connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Head lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Head throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Head blocks a head kick by Sten.
Sten closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sten takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Head scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Sten is rocked!
Head connects with a body shot.
Oh Sten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Head engages and cracks Sten with a massive lead left hook - Sten tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Head is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
