The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rozario throws out a loose jab but McGully uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGully takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McGully has his takedown stuffed
and McGully takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McGully fails with a takedown attempt.
Jason McGully seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGully needs to keep his hands up - Rozario had a free shot at his head there.
McGully misses with a takedown
and Rozario counters with a stiff right hand.

McGully closes the distance and clinches up with Rozario, looking for a takedown. McGully pushes Rozario against the cage but Rozario circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Rozario finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

McGully has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rozario finds it's way round the side to connect with McGully's head.

McGully shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rozario as he avoids it easily.
McGully fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rozario avoids it really well and circles away.

Rozario drives through and clinches with McGully against the cage.
McGully has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rozario is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rozario lands a right hand that snaps the head of McGully backwards.
