Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Saperstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saperstein comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Korn & Slipknot - Shame kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dustin Graves has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Graves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Saperstein!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Graves shoots in but no luck this time.
Saperstein connects with a looping right hand.


It looks like Dustin Graves has been cut.

Saperstein clinches.
Saperstein landing some nice looking knees to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dustin Graves. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Saperstein tightens his grip and picks Graves up, before dumping him to the ground. Graves manages to land in guard.
Saperstein must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Saperstein wanted to stand there but Graves had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Graves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saperstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Saperstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Graves looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Saperstein passes into half guard.
Graves wants to improve his position but Saperstein is controlling well.
Saperstein keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Graves is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Graves is looking to get back to full guard here but Saperstein has managed to pass to side control instead.
BOOM! Saperstein connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Saperstein is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Graves has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Graves!

Graves avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Graves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Graves wants to control from the top but Saperstein keeps moving.
Saperstein looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Graves crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Saperstein - the referee stops the clock and Graves gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Saperstein. Graves manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Saperstein throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Graves will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Saperstein moves into range and clinches up with Graves.
Saperstein gets underhooks to prevent Graves's takedown attempt.
Graves tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Saperstein just stands there and leans against the cage.
Saperstein keeps control of Graves as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Saperstein gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Graves looking for a guillotine here but Saperstein defends easily.

Graves is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Saperstein frees his head nicely. Oh but Graves has switched to an armbar! Saperstein is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Dustin Graves!
