Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Whitewas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Whitewas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor is looking to clinch but Whitewas is avoiding it.

Taylor gets caught flat footed, as Whitewas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Taylor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Whitewas's guard.

Whitewas is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Taylor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Whitewas is surviving well by controlling Taylor's body position as best he can.

Taylor uses his free foot to push down on Whitewas's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Whitewas.

Taylor is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Whitewas has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Taylor has hold of Whitewas's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Whitewas manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Taylor wants to pass the guard but Whitewas is keeping the position.

Whitewas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Taylor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Taylor stands and throws Whitewas's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Taylor has hold of Whitewas's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Whitewas tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Taylor cranks the arm and Whitewas screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Whitewas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
