Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank The Crippler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cmon Feel The Noise. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Stark!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Crippler throws a body punch but Stark moves out of range.
The Crippler ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Stark lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Stark tries to bum rush The Crippler with a series of wild strikes but The Crippler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A swing and a miss from The Crippler.
Stark connects with a leg kick. The Crippler looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Stark tries to clinch up but The Crippler circles away and keeps his distance.
Stark swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The Crippler thows a body shot but no joy.
The Crippler throws a poor cross that misses
and Stark counters with a left and a right that stings The Crippler.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Crippler thuds his right hand into Stark's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Thomas Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stark throws a nice outside leg kick.
Stark tries to clinch but The Crippler is having none of it.

Stark fails to land with a series of punches.

The Crippler uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stark.
Stark misses with an uppercut
and The Crippler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thomas Stark dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Stark throws a hook but The Crippler avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Crippler takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Stark tries to clinch there but The Crippler circles away.
Stark throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Crippler sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stark throws a body punch but The Crippler moves out of range.
Stark swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by The Crippler.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The Crippler moves into range and connects with a jab.
Stark ducks under a wild hook from The Crippler.
The Crippler scores with a nice head shot.
The Crippler digs a good hook to Stark's body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Crippler misses with a right hand
and Stark connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stark throws a right hand that The Crippler ducks under and follows up with a left that The Crippler also avoids with ease.
Stark throws a combination that misses
and The Crippler counters with a thumping low kick.
A low kick from Stark misses
and The Crippler counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Stark swinging wildly here.
Stark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from The Crippler.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The Crippler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stark moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank The Crippler dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


The Crippler swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stark tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stark moves in looking to clinch but The Crippler pushes him off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stark lands with a nice combination. The Crippler backs away looking to recover.
Stark catches The Crippler with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Stark has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

and The Crippler counters with a one-two to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Stark, right into the meat.
The Crippler throws a leg kick
and The Crippler takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stark keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Stark throws a big shot that misses.
Stark is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Stark uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from The Crippler.
Stark throws an ugly left hook that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The Crippler misses with a hook.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stark throws a combination that misses
and The Crippler counters with a nice uppercut.
The Crippler takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The Crippler throws a head kick that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stark tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. The Crippler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Thomas Stark seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The Crippler throws an off balance right hand
and Stark counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Stark ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Crippler moves away.
Stark waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Crippler.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank The Crippler.
I think The Crippler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
