Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Job (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seamus Brady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Job's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Need A Dollar. Brady is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Killer on the loose. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Job!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 21 - 1, fighting out of London, Seamus Brady!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brady misses with a wild combination.

Brady moves into the clinch.
Job tries to pull guard but Brady holds him up against the cage and eventually Job drops back down to his feet.
Brady wants to get back to striking at distance but Job won't allow it.

Brady decides to pull guard.
Brady is trying to keep Job in close.
Brady might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Job kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Job thows a big elbow that misses.
Brady working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Job.
Job is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Seamus Brady.
Brady tries to bum rush Job with a series of wild strikes but Job uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Job lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brady circles away quickly and effectively.
Brady scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brady darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Brady misses with a head kick.

Brady scores with a takedown into Job's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Job is on top in guard.
Brady keeping moving, preventing Job from controlling successfully.
Job is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Brady looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Job prevents Brady from getting back to his feet.
Job content to stall in guard here.

Job advances position into side control!
Job happy to just control the position for now.
Job tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Job prevents Brady from escaping the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Job working the head with strikes.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Job working the ground and pound.
Brady is looking for a sweep.
Job has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee asks Job politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Job prefers to stall for the moment though.
Brady tries to buck Job off but Job is having none of it.
Job lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Brady down.
Brady tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Brady looks to move to half guard but instead Job has passed into mount! Damn!

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Job looking for a guillotine from mount but Brady is having none of it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Job is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Brady is surviving well by controlling Job's body position as best he can.
Job blocks Brady's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Job takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Job looking to finish Brady with some ground and pound. This is bad for Brady!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Job raining down shots from the mount!
Brady tries to lock up and control but Job gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Job dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Job takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Brady throws a left and a right that both miss
and Job counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brady thinking.
Job misses with a jab, cross combination.
A combination from Job does no damage.
Steve Job is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Job swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Brady counters with a leg kick.

Brady shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Job napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Brady trying to control the position but Job is working away.

Brady goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Job rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Brady's guard! Nice work there by Job!

Brady is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Job is controlling him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Job preventing the sweep.
Brady is breathing heavily.

Brady is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Job chips away with some ground and pound.
Job is pushing down on Brady's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brady is fighting to maintain full guard but Job has managed to sneak the leg through.
Job is nestled in close to Brady, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Job content to control rather than advance.
Brady has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Job is working away from the top position though.
Job seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Job is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Brady!

Brady tries to hold on but Job pushes him away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Job has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Brady's face.
Brady wants to try and get back to his feet.

Brady is in all sorts of trouble here.
Job breaks from Brady's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Brady wants to hold on but Job pushes him away.
Brady keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Job tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Brady tries to hold on but Job pushes him away.
Job sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Job connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee warns Brady that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Brady is looking to get to half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Job lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Job feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Brady crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
