PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Primus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin comes to the cage accompanied by For A Few Dollars More. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin tries to clinch but Primus moves away

and Primus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Primus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Primus is working for a guillotine from mount but Franklin frees his head quite easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Primus is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Franklin is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Franklin flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Primus anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Franklin and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Primus slips an arm under Franklin chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Primus has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Primus is squeezing on Franklin like an anaconda would it's prey. Franklin fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
