The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yildirim moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Yildirim tries to score a power double leg takedown but Torres sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yildirim somewhat.
Alejandro Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres throws a series of punches but Yildirim avoids them all with ease.
Torres throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Torres darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Yildirim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Torres is fending him off so far but Yildirim persists. Nope, Torres circles away and we're back to standing.
Torres throws a right and a left that Yildirim avoids nicely.
Torres goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Yildirim is rocked!

Yildirim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Alejandro Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mehmet Yildirim.
Yildirim shoots in but no luck this time.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yildirim is defended easily by Torres.
Yildirim drops his hands momentarily and Torres needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Yildirim just on the top of the head. Yildirim drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Yildirim - he's done!
