PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Blew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Tatarata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatarata has chosen Dr Dre feat Snoop Dogg - Next Episode as his entrance music. Krzysztof Tatarata told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raymond Blew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Krzysztof Tatarata!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blew swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Tatarata counters with a crisp one two that drops Blew! Tatarata thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Blew to his feet! Blew is in big trouble!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blew throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Blew fails to land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tatarata looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Blew rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tatarata moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Blew lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Blew looks to land a combination. Tatarata sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Tatarata tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blew was well out of range. Poor timing from Tatarata.
Blew connects with a jab.
Blew misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Tatarata counters with a leg kick.

Tatarata lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Raymond Blew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tatarata cracks the inside of Blew's front leg.
Blew throws a combination that misses
and Tatarata connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tatarata.
Blew clobbers Tatarata with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Danga de danga de dang - Blew scores with a four punch combination!
Tatarata takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blew falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tatarata counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Blew to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Tatarata!
