Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hazni Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali throws a jab but it's blocked by Ferreira.
Ali misses with a wild combination.
Ferreira lands a jab to Ali's midsection.

Ali shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ferreira napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ferreira manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Ferreira is looking to take a break and control but Ali is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ferreira wants to work for an arm triangle but Ali is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ferreira wants to pass the guard but Ali is defending well.
Ferreira not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Ferreira throwing shots but Ali is blocking nicely.
Ferreira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ali does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ferreira looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ali with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ferreira thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ali tries to get to full guard but Ferreira has control of the leg.
Ferreira thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ali's head.
Ali is refusing to be controlled, as Ferreira sits in half guard.

Ferreira seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ali is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
