Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Enstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Georgio Mindzatti!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Enstein.
Enstein throws a right hand that Mindzatti ducks under and follows up with a left that Mindzatti also avoids with ease.
Mindzatti keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Mindzatti pushes Enstein up against the cage in a clinch.
Enstein tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Enstein jumps guard and drags Mindzatti to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Mindzatti decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Enstein tries to clinch but Mindzatti is having none of it.
Enstein lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

and Mindzatti counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mindzatti.

Mindzatti gets control of Enstein's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mindzatti will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Enstein has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mindzatti seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Mindzatti got a little sloppy there for a moment and Enstein has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mindzatti has managed to get both his arms back between Enstein's legs - danger averted.

Mindzatti stands and steps away. Enstein gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mindzatti is trying to get an arm triangle but Enstein is defending well.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

so Mindzatti counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Mindzatti gets to his feet - Enstein follows without any prompting.
Frank Enstein is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Mindzatti manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Enstein on his heels. He'll look to pass Enstein's guard now, I'm sure.

Enstein has hold of Mindzatti's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mindzatti manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mindzatti feints and as Enstein raises his hands in defense, Mindzatti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
