The crowd seem to be enjoying Stefanovic's choice of entrance music: check yo self. Miodrag Stefanovic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veloso avoids a punch combination nicely.
Veloso tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Veloso staying out of range there.
Stefanovic throws a combination that misses
and Veloso counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Veloso.
Veloso postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stefanovic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Veloso, into his guard.
Stefanovic controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Veloso has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stefanovic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Veloso is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stefanovic is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stefanovic makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Veloso is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Stefanovic frees his head nicely. Oh but Veloso has switched to an armbar! Stefanovic is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
