The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Sparazzo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Sparazzo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination.
Sparazzo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Sparazzo clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sparazzo in particular looking to stall.

Sparazzo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sparazzo has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sparazzo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sparazzo sneaks out the side door and pushes Jones away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

That's time! Sparazzo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jones misses with the combination.
Sparazzo tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sparazzo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Sparazzo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sparazzo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
