Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louis Sansom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Godley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sansom's entrance music is Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Godley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Godley drops back looking for a leg! Sansom is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sansom manages to kick Godley off! Godley jumps back into Sansom's guard.
Godley wants to pass the guard but Sansom is keeping the position.
Godley postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sansom is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Godley, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sansom takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Sansom jumps guard and drags Godley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Godley is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sansom is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sansom has escaped and now he's on top!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A nice combination there by Sansom.

Sansom is trying to break the clinch but Godley is controlling him.
Sansom has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Godley regains guard immediately.
Sansom distracts Godley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Godley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Sansom has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Godley is proving hard to escape from.

Sansom is sitting in close to Godley's body. Godley has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sansom is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sansom is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Godley.
