Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romero Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Romero Gracie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Romero Gracie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans misses the shot to the body.
Gracie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
An inside leg kick lands from Gracie.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Evans saw that one coming.
Evans shoots in and drives through. Gracie sprawls well.
Evans fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Gracie as Evans shoots in.
Romero Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Forrest Evans.
Evans tries for a takedown but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Evans changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Evans manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Evans looks gassed!
Evans throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Gracie moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Evans fails with the takedown.

Gracie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Evans!

Evans can't escape the position.
Evans is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gracie seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Evans is holding on tight.

Gracie working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Evans looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Gracie! Submission of the night perhaps?
