Anderson tries to clinch there but Methven circles away.

Methven has control of Anderson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Anderson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Anderson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Anderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Methven dives on top into guard.

Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Methven forces his way into half guard.
Anderson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Methven lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Methven looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Anderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Methven is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Anderson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Anderson shrugs it off.
Methven postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Anderson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Methven around the waist but Methven pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Methven is the winner by TKO! Methven jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
