Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Llewellyn Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhu Fangyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Harrigan dies tonight.. Fangyu has chosen Demigod-Mindmasher as his entrance music. Zhu Fangyu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fangyu.
Fangyu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Donk. Fangyu catches Thomas right on the button with a cross.
Fangyu getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Both fighters circling a little - Fangyu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Thomas gets tackled into the cage by Fangyu. Fangyu maintains the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Thomas just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fangyu's brow.
Thomas lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fangyu backwards.
Thomas looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Thomas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fangyu walks away with a smile on his face. Thomas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zhu Fangyu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fangyu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thomas gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Llewellyn Thomas has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fangyu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Thomas on the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fangyu knocks Thomas to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Thomas is rocked!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Thomas is trying to escape the position but Fangyu is controlling the position.
Oh Thomas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thomas looks to move to half guard but instead Fangyu has passed into mount! Damn!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zhu Fangyu has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Fangyu misses the jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fangyu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thomas sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fangyu throws an overhand right that lands on Thomas's shoulder, as Thomas tries to avoid the shot.
Fangyu lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Thomas is breathing heavily.
Fangyu and Thomas are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Fangyu throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Thomas into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Fangyu knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
