Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Loras Tyrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torai Shin Por (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torai Shin Por has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Loras Tyrell's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Loras Tyrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Torai Shin Por!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrell throws a combination that misses

and Shin Por moves into the clinch.

Shin Por ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Shin Por no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tyrell wants to stand but Shin Por is controlling his posture from full guard.
Shin Por has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Tyrell has passed into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shin Por can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shin Por tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tyrell wants to control the pace but Shin Por is squirming around nicely.
Shin Por is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tyrell controlling from mount.
Shin Por wants to hold on but Tyrell pushes him away.
Shin Por can't escape the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Loras Tyrell wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Shin Por shoots in for a takedown but Tyrell shows good takedown defense.
Shin Por throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Tyrell checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Tyrell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyrell moves out of range of the strikes.
Shin Por takes a jab right on the kisser.
Shin Por dodges the punch combination from Tyrell.

and Shin Por counters with a nice uppercut.

Shin Por throws a wild body kick that Tyrell sees coming a mile off.
Shin Por misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Torai Shin Por seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shin Por lands with a right hand.
Shin Por tries to clinch there but Tyrell circles away.
Tyrell throws a right hand that Shin Por ducks under and follows up with a left that Shin Por also avoids with ease.
Tyrell connects with the punch.
Shin Por shoots in and drives through. Tyrell sprawls well.
Loras Tyrell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Torai Shin Por.

Shin Por clinches up with Tyrell and pushes him back against the ropes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tyrell.
A short body shot lands from Shin Por as the two fighters clinch.
Shin Por tries to pull guard but Tyrell holds him up against the ropes and eventually Shin Por drops back down to his feet.
Shin Por lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Loras Tyrell will probably get the nod.
That's time! Tyrell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Tyrell leaves Shin Por with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tyrell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Shin Por shoots in for a takedown but Tyrell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Shin Por takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tyrell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Shin Por has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tyrell can't find room to land a body shot as Shin Por controls the action.

Shin Por pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tyrell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Tyrell.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shin Por looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tyrell lands a left and a right that send Shin Por crashing to the mat, dazed. Tyrell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Shin Por is rocked!


It looks like Torai Shin Por has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tyrell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shin Por is still on wobbly legs! Can Tyrell finish him?
Shin Por misses with a right hand
and Tyrell counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Shin Por seems to have recovered his senses.
Shin Por is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tyrell throws a series of punches but Shin Por avoids them all with ease.
Tyrell rushes Shin Por with punches - Shin Por moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Shin Por goes down! Tyrell follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Loras Tyrell!
