Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bat Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with Dread Zepellin - Stairway to Heaven blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Slade's choice of entrance music: Billy Joel - Goodnight Saigon. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a right hand that misses
and Slade counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.
Slade lands a really nice looking cross but Gracie seems unphased.

It looks like Roger Gracie has been cut.
Gracie takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gracie swings widly with a right hand
and Slade counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gracie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Slade connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie throws an off balance right hand
and Slade counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Gracie is rocked!
Gracie misses with a double jab
and Slade counters with a body kick.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

Slade cracks Gracie with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gracie looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Slade finish him?
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Roger Gracie's cut is getting worse.
Gracie throws a lazy uppercut
and Slade counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.
BOOM! Slade lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gracie. Gracie tries to recover but Slade is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gracie lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
