The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy lands a head kick!
Hammil misses with a takedown attempt - Kennedy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hammil shoots in and drives through. Kennedy sprawls well.
Kennedy lands with a slapping head kick.
Hammil tries to clinch but Kennedy moves away
and Kennedy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hammil closes the distance but Kennedy moves to the side
and Kennedy counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hammil is lucky that one didn't land flush.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hammil is defended easily by Kennedy.
Kain Kennedy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Hammil.
Hammil throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kennedy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Hammil sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hammil dives in and grabs Kennedy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kennedy pushes down on Hammil's head and hops out.

Kennedy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Hammil takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kennedy lands with a kick to the temple. Hammil shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kennedy throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Good leg kick by Kennedy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hammil takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Hammil takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kennedy explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kennedy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kennedy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kennedy lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hammil takes a step back to recover.
Kennedy lands a jab to Hammil's midsection.

Kennedy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hammil's head.
Hammil gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kennedy gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
