Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Entry Ceso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Entry Ceso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Serra!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ceso showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Serra.
Ceso throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ceso takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Serra tries to clinch

and Ceso counters with a nice double leg into side control. Serra won't be happy with that.
Serra is looking to regain half guard here but Ceso keeps moving and retains side control.

Ceso thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Serra tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ceso wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Entry Ceso will probably get the nod.

Ceso throws a big right hand that misses.
Serra utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ceso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Serra swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ceso throws a strike but Serra rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Serra sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ceso's guard.
Ceso is pressing down on Serra's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Serra is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ceso is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ceso manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ceso will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ceso jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Serra is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Serra and Ceso has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Serra is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ceso asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Ceso swings around for an armbar but Serra sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ceso's guard.
Serra slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Ceso looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ceso is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Serra is aware though and is defending well.

Ceso really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Matt Serra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Serra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
