The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to sprawl but Rogers drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Rogers throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rua regains full guard. Nicely done.
Rua wants to sweep here but Rogers controlling him for the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rua is on top in guard.
Rogers keeping moving, preventing Rua from controlling successfully.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rogers drops back looking for a leg! Rua is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rua manages to kick Rogers off! Rogers jumps back into Rua's guard.

Rogers throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rua works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
